CHRISTINE WILLIAMS-DYJUR REGISTERED DIETICIAN

Christine Williams-Dyjur is a Registered Dietitian who worked at the Alberta Children’s Hospital for over 27 years. She worked in the cancer clinic and diabetes clinic, but has specialized in the ketogenic diet for children with epilepsy for her entire career. There was no ketogenic diet program at ACH when she started, and she has been instrumental in developing the program at ACH, including developing many resources and collaborating with colleagues to develop innovations in the program to better serve children and families. She has also served on the advisory board for Matthew’s Friends Canada, and has had a private practice assisting clients in Canada, the US, and Vietnam implementing the ketogenic diet for the treatment of seizures, autism and cancer.

She has many hobbies, including being an avid hiker, enjoying the beautiful Rocky Mountains year-round.
