Micheale graduated from South Glamorgan Nursing School, Cardiff, Wales in 1991 and very early in her career decided that her passion was working with neurology patients.
She worked on a neurology in- patient unit from 1991 until 2002, when her family made the decision to emigrate to Canada.
She has been in her current position as Nurse Coordinator at the University of Alberta Adult Epilepsy Program since 2009.
In her spare time, she enjoys travel and crochet.
